The National Educational Technology Standards of Teachers are very important for teachers everywhere to be familiar with. If all teachers will follow these standards, it will help not only themselves but students as well across the board. In today’s world, it is extremely important for teachers to know about technology and be able to enforce it in the classrooms. Teachers need to demonstrate in order for the students to learn.

~A little Bit About Me~
My name is Krystal Carr and I am 22 years old. I am currently a senior at USM. I will be graduating in May of 2012 as an Elementary Ed. teacher. I am the baby girl of seven and a little spoiled. I currently reside in Hattiesburg, Ms. I was born and raised in Monticello, MS. I graduated from Lawrence County High School in 2007.
I am not a technological savvy person at all. I know the basics about computers and that is about it. I do best when I can play around with a system and teach myself how to work through it. I know that as a pre-service teacher I will be using technology constantly in the classroom. Technology, especially in today’s world, is extremely important. Technology is all around us and I look forward to learning new features that I will be able to use in the future.
