Reflection on blogging

I found our first assignment rather easy. I am not one to blog very much. I do not really like writing about myself. I feel that my life is really not important enough to post for others to read about. I usually do not have that much to say. I do however, like using it in the classroom. One of my professors in college allowed us to blog rather than write thirty papers. I feel that blogging is much easier and more “with the times” so to speak. I think students are more likely to want to blog about something rather than write a paper about it. It is basically the same thing, but blogging would be something fun and interesting to do. I will probably not be able to allow my students to blog very much due to them being so young but I think it would be great to have a classroom blog. I could allow the students to help me with it and have it public for their parents to see and stay up to date with what is going on in our class.
